Second Baptist Church Choral Readers

Mission: The mission of the Second Baptist Church Choral Readers is to be dedicated to studying and reciting God’s word, and to the edification of his people through speech and drama.
Foundation: “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” (Psalm 119:11)
Vision: The vision of the Second Baptist Church Choral Readers is to be deeply rooted in God’s Word, displaying confidence, commitment, and spiritual growth as we progress through the stages of life.

The Second Baptist Church Choral Readers is a group with a purpose. They pray, read, remember, and recite the Word during worship services and special events. They fall under the Speech Arts Guild, which includes Speech, Drama, and Praise Dance. Choral Readers recite every first Sunday morning at the 11:00 a.m. service. The meeting time for practice is 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. every Tuesday.
